Hanshi Teddy Wilson

Prof. Teddy Wilson was born in New York City, New York in 1948 and graduated from New York University in Business Administration and the University of Martial Arts & Sciences with a PhD in Martial Art Sciences & Zen Psychotherapy under the tutelage of 10th Dan Shidoshi Ron Van Clief . He is the retainer of the level Hanshi 9th Dan Black Belt in the arts of Kaizen Aikijutsu, Kaizen Kenjutsu, 8th Dan Black Dragon Aikijutsu, 8th Dan Aikido and Shang Fu Shang Chinese Kempo, 7th Dan Chinese Goju Karate. He was inducted into the World Head Family Sokenship Council Hall of Fame and nominated Aikijutsu Grandmaster of the Year 2009. Also he was inducted into the 1st International Budo American Magazine Hall of fame and nominated Aikijutsu Grand Master of the Year 2005. 2004-08 He was Turkey’s President and representative for the International Budo Sport Federation in Aikido and Aikijutsu. Hanshi Teddy Wilson has been practicing martial arts for the past 50 years and received his first Master degree level 5th Dan in 1976 under Shidoshi Ron Van Clief and his 8th Dan Black Belt in 2002 from the Board of Directors of The World Martial Arts Foundation and The Dutch Association of Tae Kwon Do Instructors and Teachers of Korean and Japanese Arts Federation. In 2005 at the 1st International Budo American Magazine Hall of Fame Awards, he received his 8th Dan Black Belt under the tutelage of Shidoshi Ron Van Clief 10th Dan Black Belt Founder and Chief Instructor of the Chinese Goju Karate and the Black Dragon Aikijutsu Society. Hanshi Teddy Wilson is the co-founder of the Women’s Self Defense Initiative which teaches self- defense to women by empowering women for self-development.

Hanshi Teddy Wilson gives lectures and seminars for pre-school, and all levels of education as well as Corporations in Stress management, Leadership and management communications.
